Microelectronics Blood Bank and regular Blood Donation Days
The Nano/Microelectronics and Embedded Systems cluster, being loyal and supportive to every social responsibility activity undertaken, organizes twice a year the Blood Donation Day with the cooperation of the General Hospital "Sotiria", for the preservation of the Microelectronics Blood Bank. It is important to note that the Microelectronics Blood Bank in Athens is connected with the Blood Bank in Patras, which is sustained by the mi-cluster companies based in the region.
Recycling: bins for the collection of packaging waste & used batteries
The Microelectronics Innovation Center is fully equipped with the special blue bins for the collection of all packaginf waste, as well as with a complete battery recycling system with plastic cylinder receptors. Taking recycling a step further, in April 2009 Corallia actively participated in the recycling program for energy - consuming appliances, promoted by Kotsovolos S.A.
