Athens, 18.01.2012: The Living Labs Global Award 2012, which is organised in cooperation with 20 international cities in May 2012, are looking for the most innovative solutions to participate in. In 2012, twenty global cities are participating in the award with the aim of helping over 100 million citizens in the Americas, Africa, Asia and Europe.

Vienna, 18-20.04.2012: The European Cluster Conference 2012 will take place in Vienna on 18 - 20 April 2012. It is the central event for all European cluster managers, cluster employees and cluster policy makers in 2012 and will also host the European Cluster Managers’ Club Event including the Award Ceremony for the “European Cluster Manager of the Year”.

Brussels, 07.12.2011: An event highlighting the award of the EARTO Innovation Prize 2011 took place on 7 December 2011 in Brussels, Belgium. EARTO is the European Association of Research and Technology Organizations. Research and technology organisations (RTOs) are specialised entities dedicated to the development and transfer of science and technology to help address the grand challenges confronting society.

Sophia Antipolis, France, 17-18.11.2011: Για έβδομη συνεχή χρονιά, διοργανώθηκε στη Γαλλία, από το Ίδρυμα Sophia-Antipolis το "Competitiveness Cluster Forum", στις 17-18 Νοεμβρίου 2011, με κεντρικό θέμα συζήτησης τη στρατηγική για την ευφυή εξειδίκευση των περιφερειών της Ευρώπης (Smart Specialisation Stategy). Επίσης συζητήθηκαν θέματα σχετικά με την εξωστρέφεια, τη διεθνοποίηση, την καινοτομία και την ανταγωνιστικότητα των Ευρωπαϊκών clusters και η διαδικασία ανάδειξης clusters διεθνούς εμβέλειας (World-Class Clusters).
