European Alliace of Strategic Significance: MoU between Corallia and the Hungarian Pole Programme Office

Maroussi, 02.02.2010: A Memorandum of Understanding with the Hungarian Pole Programme Office –the Hungarian public body for the promotion of innovation clusters – was signed by Corallia Clusters Initiative, on Wednesday 27th January 2010, in Budapest, during the works of the international Conference "Clusters in Europe II. Mobilizing Clusters for competitiveness", which took place in the Hungarian capital on the 27th – 28th January 2010. For the ceremony, Corallia was represented by the General Director, Professor Makios, while Dr. Zita Zombori the General Manager, represented Hungarian Pole Programme Office.

This collaboration will focus on exchange of know-how in relation to cluster management towards a model of World Class Clusters, as well as on future policy actions to enable cooperation, promotion of excellence and wide deployment of innovation clusters, towards meeting strategic European objectives for development and prosperity. In addition, a common goal of both parties is to support and facilitate the cross-country cooperation between all innovation actors (including industry, academia, research institutes) with the scope to further boost competitiveness and entrepreneurship, both in Greece and Hungary.
