Berlin, 14-15.12.2009: Corallia was represented by Dr. Jorge Sanchez at the congress "Promoting cluster excellence - measuring and benchmarking, cluster performance and quality of cluster organisations", of the European Commission DG ENTR. The congress has been hosted by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH and has been held in Berlin on 14-15 December.
The congress aimed at bringing together relevant experts, cluster organisations, national and regional authorities responsible for cluster policy design to discuss how to better measure and benchmark the performance of clusters and the quality of cluster organisations. The seminar also addressed the issue of how to use cluster organisations as privileged channels for public research and innovation support.
