Corallia Clusters Initiative

Acknowledging the power of clusters as an important framework for industrial development, Corallia's primary focus is placed on the advancement of the country's core competence from a model of "low cost labor" to a model of "added-value services", while adopting a knowledge economy orientation, Corallia has introduced a programme framework for the utilization of clusters, with the aim to promote Innovation Made in Greece and boost competitiveness.

Corallia's vision is the promotion of "Innovation Made in Greece" in knowledge intensive - high-tech - exports oriented segments, in order to fuel growth and boost competitiveness in business sectors where Greece can attain a world-wide competitive advantage, through the establishment of Innovation Clusters.

The integration of Social Reposibily into daily business practice consists of a priority for Corallia.

Corallia's team comprises of the executive board, formed by Prof. Vassilios Makios, Dr. Jorge-A. Sanchez-P. and Dr. Nikos Vogiatzis and is supported by a group of professionals covering a wide range of exprtise.

To COSINE - Corallia Scolarship Innovation Programme αποτελεί μια από τις πιο σημαντικές πρωτοβουλίες που έχει σχεδιάσει και υλοποιεί το Corallia, με σκοπό την έμπρακτη και ουσιαστική στήριξη νέων επιστημόνων στην πορεία της ακαδημαϊκής και διδακτωρικής τους σταδιοδρομίας. Στόχος του COSINE είναι η δημιουργία ενός fund δωρεών από επιχειρήσεις, οργανισμούς, ευεργέτες, ομογενείς και οποιονδήποτε άλλο μπορεί να προσφέρει, ώστε να εξασφαλιστεί η χρηματοδότηση των εργασιών υποψήφιων διδακτόρων διάρκειας 3-4 χρόνων ή 6-8 μηνών για διπλωματικές εργασίες φοιτητών ή ακόμα και μερικών μηνών για internships, με απώτερο σκοπό τη δημιουργία μιας νέας τάξης επιστημόνων, εξοικειωμένων με την έννοια της επιχειρηματικότητας και την παραγωγή  καινοτόμων προϊόντων που θα φέρουν τη σφραγίδα «Innovation Made in Greece», προσδίδοντας αξία τόσο στους ίδιους όσο και στη χώρα.
