Business Acceleration Program: Stage3 - Be Global!

 
Maroussi, 24-25 & 28-29.06.2010: "Be Global! The journey of tech business experience..." was the focal point of June's 2010 events of the "Business Acceleration Program", an educational program enabling intended prominent Greek technology companies and entrepreneurs to advance their capabilities and skills for taking their technology business to the next level. The workshops and seminars, were  scheduled to take place at the Microelectronics Innovation Center, on 24-25 and 28-29.06.

The 24-25.06.2010 hands-on workshop by Bill Joos, principal of "Go To Market Consulting", focused on understanding the core entrepreneurial skills and applying US Silicon Valley best practices to perfect a business plan. The workshop  included the following topics:

  • Perfecting Your Positioning & Your Elevator Pitch
  • Perfecting Your Pitching
  • The Power of an Advisory Board (a Tale of Two Boards)
  • Elevator Pitch Workshop
  • Slide Development Workshop
  • The Investor Meeting

The 28.06.2010 seminar hosted VC professionals from the Silicon Valley area, professors and business experts that presented their cases, in an attempt to share experiences, perspectives and ideas in the design and implementation of a truly global strategy.

On the 29.06.2010, participants got the chance to pitch to an extended panel of experts and received dedicated feedback on their business plan.
